Chief Executive Carl Hall says he’s delighted that Sam Smeaton has been awarded a testimonial.

He said “He’s been an outstanding leader for this club.

“He’s a Doncaster lad, his dad played for the club, from day one he’s been all in.

“He’s a model professional and a man of his word. 

“He told me when he joined, he would help us get promoted and he fulfilled that.”

He added “He’s set a high bar for this club and the way he conducts himself is immense.

“I’m absolutely delighted for Sam.”
